This privacy notice sets out how Solihull Chandos Choir uses and protects any information that you give us when you use our website, when you buy tickets for our concerts over the internet or when you provide your email address to receive information about our events and concerts.

 

We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this notice and GDPR.

 

Solihull Chandos Choir may change this notice by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from 25th May 2018.

 

What we collect

We may collect the following information:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Telephone number

  • Mobile number

 

What we do with the information we gather

We require this information either to contact you if you have submitted a query to us, or to send you information about forthcoming events. We will contact you by email about concerts and events. If you have contacted us or asked to join the choir, we will contact you either by email or telephone.

 

Any information collected via our Contact Us form will be kept only until we have answered your query or completed any relevant transaction. We may then ask permission to add you to our mailing list. If you decline, we will delete or destroy your personal information.

 

Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. We do not keep your information on personal computers or laptops. We use MailChimp to keep our mailing list and send out emails about events. Their privacy policy is available HERE. Once your data has been added to our mailing list, any other copies of it are destroyed or deleted.

 

We use TicketSource as our online box office. Their privacy policy is available HERE. We use information you provide through TicketSource to allow you access to our events.

 

Links to other websites

We may occasionally publish links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, please be aware that we do not have any control over that other website. Please therefore exercise caution and look at the privacy statement applicable to the website in question.

 

Controlling your personal information

You may choose to restrict the collection or use of your personal information. If you are on our mailing list, you may change your mind at any time and unsubscribe from the mailing list by clicking the Unsubscribe button at the bottom of any of our emails.  This will remove your personal information automatically. Alternatively, you may send us an email using the button below. We will then remove your information manually from the MailChimp list.

 

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we are required by law to do so, in which case we are not required by law to inform you.

 

You may request details of personal information which we hold about you. If you would like a copy of the information held on you, please email us using the button below.

 

If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please email us as soon as possible using the button below. We will make any corrections as soon as we can.
