We'd love to keep in touch with you!
Please use the form below to join our mailing list. We'll let you know what we're up to, and we promise we won't bombard you with emails! Don't forget you can unsubscribe at any time.
We welcome new members at any time, though the best time to join is at the beginning of a new project. We usually start a new project immediately after a concert, except at Christmas when we start again at the beginning of January.
Previous experience of choral singing is helpful, but not essential and it helps if you can read music at at least a basic level. We spend plenty of time in rehearsal learning the notes, and you will have free access to practice tracks prepared by our conductor on the members’ area of the website.
If you are interested in joining this lively and friendly group of singers, just turn up on Tuesday, or email our Membership Secretary for further details.
We hope to see you soon!
Young Singers' Scholarship
The Solihull Chandos Choir is keen to encourage young people to get involved with choral singing, and so have established a Young Singers' Scholarship which has helped many young people to develop their singing since it started in 1997.
The scholarship will consist of:
A bursary of £100 towards the cost of singing lessons with an approved teacher
Free membership of the Choir for the Season
Free provision of music
You will need the support of whoever is responsible for your music teaching and also your parents. If you wish to be considered, we ask that you attend a few rehearsals. You will then be given an informal audition when you will be asked to sing a piece of music of your choice.
For more information, please email the Scholarship Secretary.
