After five years full of musical fun and exciting repertoire challenges, we are sorry that Leon James has announced his retirement as our Musical Director.

The choir is delighted to have appointed Dexter Drown as our new Musical Director. We are really excited to work with him to keep enjoying our rehearsals, improving our performances and exploring repertoire that is new to the choir.

Dexter is an imaginative and versatile conductor, bringing to Solihull his experience of large and small choirs and orchestras, both amateur and professional. He's as passionate about learning as he is about music-making, and we are immensely excited to be working with a conductor of such confidence and flair!

​We have some exciting projects planned - a joint concert in March 2025 with the Hampton Singers, and in the summer of 2025 a tour to Normandy, France.
